X-Payments is a PA-DSS certified web-based payment application designed for merchants who need to accept credit card payments online and who require compliance with the PCI DSS standard. X-Payments can be used together with major shopping carts including:

X-Payments can be used with a number of popular payment gateways as listed here.

While processing credit card payments, X-Payments works as an intermediary between a store on one side and payment gateways and 3D-Secure systems on the other side. See detailed explanation at X-Payments:How It Works and the diagram below.

X-Payments has a history of versions successfully validated according to PCI Council’s PA-DSS standard. You can find these versions on the list of PA-DSS certified applications on the PCI Council website by doing a search for the application name "X-Cart Payments":

To date, the most advanced X-Payments version is X-Payments 3.0. We recommend this version for all new deployments. The previous version - X-Payments 2.2 - can also be used for new deployments until 28 Oct 2016:

X-Payments versions 1.0.x, 2.0.x and 2.1.1 are acceptable for existing deployments:

With X-Payments you will be able to:

  • Accept credit card payments from your customers via online payment gateways.
  • Make your online store compliant with the PCI DSS standard which strictly recommends using only PA-DSS validated payment applications for accepting and handling credit card payments.
  • Use "stored" credit card information for new orders, re-orders or recurring payments.
  • Retain total control over the checkout process and avoid risky redirects by incorporating an iFrame credit card form in the store's checkout window.
