X-Payments is a [http://www.pcisecuritystandards.org/approved_companies_providers/validated_payment_applications.php?agree=true PA-DSS certified] web-based payment application designed for merchants who accept credit card payments using background payment gateways listed in [http://help.qtmsoft.com/index.php?title=X-Payments:User_manual#Appendix_A._Supported_payment_gateways Appendix A] and who require compliance with the PCI DSS standard. X-Payments can be used together with major shopping carts including:

While processing credit card payments, X-Payments works as an intermediary between a store on one side and payment gateways and 3D-Secure systems on the other side. See detailed explanation at [[X-Payments:How_It_Works|X-Payments:How It Works]] and the diagram below.

X-Payments has a history of versions successfully validated according to PCI Council’s PA-DSS standard. You can find these versions on the list of PA-DSS certified applications on the [http://www.pcisecuritystandards.org/approved_companies_providers/validated_payment_applications.php?agree=true PCI Council website] by doing a search for the application name "X-Cart Payments":

To date, the newest and most feature rich version of the application is X-Payments 2.1.1. We recommend using this version for all new deployments. Previous X-Payments versions - including X-Payments 1.0.x and 2.0.x - are acceptable for existing deployments.

With X-Payments you will be able to:
* Accept credit card payments from your customers via online payment gateways.
* Make your online store compliant with the PCI DSS standard which strictly recommends using only PA-DSS validated payment applications for accepting and handling credit card payments.
* Use "stored" credit card information for new orders, re-orders or recurring payments.
* Retain total control over the checkout process and avoid risky redirects by incorporating an iFrame credit card form in the store's checkout window.
